PHOTOGRAPHY // UK MS Society May 50K
Our client - MSIF - Multiple Sclerosis International Federation invited us to collaborate on their photography project which would support social media activity around their 'May 50K' fund raising initiative.
The brief was simple: Photograph a diverse range of models either running or walking alone and in a group setting. Making this happen was not so simple...
The images would be used across the world, so casting and location selection needed to be incredibly diverse. To avoid international travel, we used UK talent and implemented some very creative location scouting to get the look right.
One of the biggest challenges was ensuring all 8 models were available in the right place at the right time, as well as getting the right weather/light conditions. With the shoot needing to happen during winter in the UK, this was especially challenging (how do we make this look right for Africa for example?!)
With some meticulous planning (and a little luck), the light conditions were just right, so the outcome was exactly as they hoped for. Due to a very fast turnaround on photo editing, our client was able to use the images almost immediately.
